Arms dealer nabbed
Robika, aka Biakluaia, 45, a Myanmarese immigrant, was apprehended by personnel of the 8th Assam Rifles on March 18 at Chhinga Veng following which unlicensed England-made .22 rifle was recovered from him. He is suspected to be a middle-man in an arms racket. He was later handed over to Aizawl police station.

Synod donation
Mizoram Synod has recently donated Rs.100,000 each to the following Synod and Church organisation- Zou Synod of Manipur, Evangelical Church of Maraland, Mizoram, Biateram Synod (Meghalaya) and Cachar Hill Tribe Synod (Assam) under other organisation/partnership grant. The Synod also gave a grant of Rs.50,000 to Zoram Evangelical Fellowship.
