July 30, 2007 (Khonumthung News): Chin state employees of the Myanmar government are being forced to replant over 7,000 acres with Jatropha trees destroyed in a forest fire in 2005. The order to involve government employees from various departments has come from the Township Peace and Development Council (TPDC) authorities.
